Classroom and Office Phone Setup

Voicemail Greeting: This section pertains to a message that you record as a greeting to those leaving a voicemail on your extension.

Access your voicemail from your phone

Dial *99 or press the Messages button (depending on the phone model, this button may have an envelope icon on it).
Enter your password (default 0000).
Press 0 for Mailbox Options.
Record the desired message:
1. Press 1 to record your Unavailable Message. (Example: You have reach the voicemail box for (NAME). I am currently unavailable but leave your name, number, and a brief message, and I will return your call as soon as possible.)
2. Press 3 to record your Name.

Change Voicemail Password

Dial *99 or press the Messages button (depending on the phone model, this button may have an envelope icon on it).
Enter your password (default 0000).
Press 0 for Mailbox Options.
Press 5 for Change Password.
Enter your new password.

Voicemail: This section pertains to messages left by someone calling your phone.

With this new system no voice messages are saved to the phone. All message are emailed to you after they have been recorded. After a message has been recorded you will receive an email from voicemail-noreply@jivecommunications.com. Make sure to check your SPAM folder for messages. If they are sent to the SPAM folder make sure to mark them as "Not SPAM" so they will appear in your Inbox. The message subject will contain your extension and the date/time the message was left. The email body will contain the caller's information and an audio file that you can download to listen to your message.
